How to get involved

Ideas and opportunities:

We are constantly looking for new ideas and opportunities.  If you work for a White Rose University and wish to discuss collaboration ideas that will benefit the consortium, then we are keen to hear from you.   In the first instance you should contact the White Rose Project Development Manager based at your University.

Creating successful initiatives:

We can help investigate and take forward collaboration ideas.  White Rose has been successful at identifying and implementing collaborative initiatives that benefit the Universities and the region.  We have secured substantial external investments for our initiatives.  – Link to Projects

Existing projects:

White Rose has a number of established initiatives that are open to staff within the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York.

Students:

Studentships are the responsibility of the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York.  Studentship enquiries should be directed to the appropriate University.

Working with other organisations:

We are keen to work with other organisations where collaboration is mutually beneficial.  A number of the initiatives we are involved in have academic, business and government partners from the UK and world-wide.

 Working with business:

The White Rose Universities have excellent research facilities, undertake major research projects on behalf of blue-chip companies, and have a reputation for delivering excellent results. If you are operating a smaller local business then please contact your local business link (www.businesslink.gov.uk) and they will be able to support your requirements. If appropriate, they can put you in touch with your local university project officer who will be able to advise you on the type of research facilities you may require.
