White Rose Studentship Networks promote collaboration across the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York. We invite applications in the BBSRCs strategic theme of Food Security.
The White Rose studentships initiative was set up in 1997 to encourage collaboration between the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York. Since 2005 the studentships have been awarded as networks to promote collaboration across the three institutions.
The Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York have made a collaborative bid to the BBSRC for a Doctorial Training Partnership (DTP). To support this bid and increase critical mass the White Rose University Consortium has committed three networks over the course of the DTP. One network will be aligned to each of the BBSRC strategic themes covered in the application. The first will be allocated to the theme of Food Security.
