Projects

In 2002 the Universities of Leeds and Sheffield were awarded one of the first Life Sciences Doctoral Training Centres. Funded by EPSRC and MRC the centres aim to deliver an exciting new multi-disciplinary approach to post graduate training. The White Rose centre will produce a new type of scientist by providing high quality engineering and physical sciences graduates with the additional skills to address the challenges emerging in modern life sciences.
