White Rose in the US
Chief executive of the White Rose University Consortium Julian White attended the 6th Annual New Jersey Biomedical Engineering Showcase on Friday 13th March 2009. Around 2000 people from businesses and universities in the New York and New Jersey area attended to exchange information on scientific research and economic development.
The picture shows Julian White with second year undergraduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) Sterling Prince discussing work to develop a device that could help physical therapists and their patients. Sterling worked under Professor Gordon A Thomas of NJIT using data collated at the University of Leeds by Drs Andrea Utley and Deborah Withington. The project was supported by the White Rose Health Innovation Partnership.
