This event is organised by young engineering researchers to showcase their work

USES is a day-long event focusing on presenting the research pursued in the University of Sheffield with special emphasis on interdisciplinary work and promoting collaborations. This conference is envisaged to bring together researchers, engineers and scientists from around the University to explore the latest technological advances and research results in core areas of engineering. Through a combination of distinguished plenary speakers, parallel technical thematic sessions led by leading experts from academia and industry and interactive poster sessions, participants will showcase their research efforts and technologies and share visions with each other and with delegates spanning from academia and industry. New opportunities for collaborative effort will be created and, in particular, industrial delegates will be able to establish new dialogues and build relationships with universities as well as develop links across industries.
